Relief From Your Technology Headaches

We caught up with Paul Russell of Enfield, CT to discuss how he found a solution to his technology headaches in a surprising way. It wasn’t with more budget, or with more employees. “Refurb computers have always been out there. We tried them years ago. The cost was lower. But the quality and service of those had always been low as well. Once we get them out to the students, we have a lot better time managing and maintaining the equipment in use. We’re able to standardize across the board. That makes our ongoing support and management so much better than having a multitude of different machines and different operating systems. So it really helps us. Plus, we don’t have people complaining that they have older technology than their neighbor.”

Paul Russell’s final thought emphasizes the benefits: “I’ve been in IT for a little over 20 years now. And to really get high ratings on quality, service and cost on refurbished equipment is amazing. We’ve had three large purchases with Compugen and I can’t imagine that changing.”
