Compugen Education’s Unique Refurbishing Process
How Are Computers Refurbished?
You’ve heard about “refurbished” computers, but do you know exactly what the term means?
In truth, it means a lot of different things. It depends on who is saying it.
Some people say that a computer is refurbished even if they’ve done next to nothing to it, besides clean the outside and check to make sure it boots up!
For others, refurbishing is an extensive process involving rigorous and stringent audits, and executed by highly trained technicians.
Compugen Education falls into the latter category, and unfortunately there are not many other companies that are as exacting about their refurbishing process as we are.
This comprehensive process is one of the reasons we’ve managed to gain and maintain the many accolades and certifications bestowed on us. We set the standard in the industry.
- ISO 9001:2008 certification for our entire vendor to consumer process
- Authorized Service Providers for all the major brands, including HP, Dell, Lenovo & Toshiba
- Microsoft Authorized Refurbisher
Rather than simply tell you that our refurbishing process is one of the most thorough in the industry, we decided to show you. This infographic walks you through the steps that a computer must go through in order to gain our Honor Roll Certification – Compugen Education’s in-house own certification process that is synonymous with “like new.”
