Image Management
Compugen maintains and manages multiple images for its customers. The Configuration Department has in place an advanced image-management database process. Our rigorous change control procedure ensures the consistent delivery of quality-tested images into the production environment, minimizing potential conflicts and downtime.
Images received from customers are certified by our senior configuration specialists, who audit them by imaging a new system with the supplied image and testing that:
- No hardware redetection occurs
- All devices are functional
- All applications are functional
- No errors are logged in the event viewer
- No viruses are detected (updated antivirus program with current definitions)
