David Carlson
David Carlson has been in the computer business since 1998 and joined the Compugen team in 2015. Having worked in the education technology business for so long (he used to work for the competition), he understands the market as well as anyone out there and uses his knowledge to build custom technology solutions for all his clients.
His sensibility is naturally matched to the work: he’s task oriented, meticulously organized (you should see his desk!) and optimistic. He’s glad that this job affords him time to speak with devoted IT people ..who care about educating our youth. He gets great joy knowing that through Compugen Education, he is able to offer the best service and price point for the most reliable machines on the market.
His spare time is spent with his four bright kids and loving wife – either on the ski hills or the golf course. And he likes to take his dog, a mixed breed Husky and Chow named Desoto, on long walks in the neighborhood.
What has he bought refurbished that has been better-than-new? Easier to ask what hasn’t he bought refurbished! Cars, computers, bikes – all have served him well for years.
